Exercise Your Right to Vote

February 21, 2006 is the last day to register to vote to be eligible to vote in the March 21, 2006 primary election. Voter registration can be done at the County Clerk's Office in the Greene County Court House.
To register, you'll need two forms of identification so that you can prove your current address and your date of birth. If you have questions, please call the Greene County Clerk's Office at (217)576-2351.

We are now a "Search n Place Holds" Library.

This means that we must pay the Lewis & Clark Library System
$100 per year to special order books.
Donations to help cover this expense would be appreciated.

The Greenfield Public Library can help whether you need to look up a statistic, find a quick answer to a query or get started on a research project. We have direct access to the Internet, a fine reference collection, and a friendly staff.

We are a member of The Lewis & Clark Library
System
. The library card we provide is good at over
50 local libraries.

The Greenfiled Public Library is qualified as
a 501(c)(3) exempt organization.

If you are interested in joining the Friends of the Library, please contact Kathy Burkholder at (217)368-2032 or the library at (217)368-2613.
